- Required setup conditions:

 - Bed height from mattress top to floor must be below 47 cm

 - Gap below bed must be more than 14 cm

- Patient requirements:

 - Patient must have strength in upper body and arms

 - Able to sit upright without support and move themselves sideways onto the chair

 - OR caregiver is able to lift patient up and move patient sideways onto the chair
